Dog policy
- Dogs are welcome all year round at Boulevard 5.
- No other animals are allowed.
- Dogs are welcome, but there are a number of important rules when bringing your dog.
- When you check-in with your dog, you automatically agree to our dog regulations.
- Maximum 1 dog per room
- Only small to medium sized (max. 20 kg, height at the withers 40 cm).
- As a hotel we are lenient, but bringing more than one dog is not allowed.
- There is an additional charge per night for bringing a dog.
- If you bring your dog to our hotel, you must indicate this when making the reservation.
- We reserve the right to charge additional cleaning costs in the event of excessive soiling of the room.
- Before entering the hotel, check whether your dog is dry and has not left any sand marks.
- Make sure that your dog does not cause a nuisance to other guests. Not everyone likes dogs or prefers a friendly dog greeting;
- Keep your dog on a leash in and around the building;
- Dogs are not allowed to sit on our hotel beds and armchairs;
- It is not permitted to leave the dog alone in the hotel room when you are not present in the hotel.
- For damage to the interior, the owner of the dog will be held liable for the repair costs.
- If we have to compensate other guests due to inconvenience caused by your pet, these costs will be charged to the dog’s owner.
- If noise pollution persists, for example due to barking, we reserve the right to remove the dog from the hotel. Removal due to nuisance does not entitle you to a refund.
- In the period from October 1 to April 15, dogs are allowed on the beach all day long. The beach as a whole is designated as an off-leash area and they do not have to be on a leash as long as they are properly under roll call.
- From April 15 to October 1, dogs are not allowed on the beach between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Outside these times they are welcome on the beach. Would you like to walk your dog on the beach between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. during this period? Then this is possible on the beach past Parnassia in Bloemendaal aan Zee.
- There is a duty to clean up dog poop on the entire beach and you are obliged to have your own clean-up materials with you. You must be able to show this to an investigating officer upon request.
- Within the built-up area in Zandvoort, it is prohibited to let your dog run free all year round.
The purpose of these house rules is to make both your stay and the stay of our other guests as pleasant as possible, so that we can continue to receive four-legged friends in the future.
If you have any questions about this, please contact us.
